After an uneventful 6 1/2 months of pregnancy (except for the bouts of rosacea and poison ivy), LeighAnn went into preterm labor at 29 weeks 6 days gestation. She delivered Landon just a few hours later at the start of his 30th gestational week. The hospital he was delivered at, Phoenixville Hospital, was not equipped to provide care for him given his early arrival and weight; therefore he was transported to Pennsylvania Hospital hours after his delivery in order to receive the proper care and attention he requires. Landon endured 52 days in the NICU and was discharged on July 16 at his 37 1/2 week gestational age.
